Abstract
The paper presents studies on the extraction of copper and zinc from sterile resulted in mining activities in order to find the optimum conditions for their extraction, in view of put them in good use. We studied the influence of the stirring time and the nature and concentration of extraction agents on the extraction degree of copper and zinc from samples collected in a mining area of Apuseni Mountains.
