Abstract
The paper presents the capacity of biodegradation of selected microorganism, cultivated on liquid culture media to which diesel was added in different amounts, to determine petroleum products and process efficiency. The optimum necessary conditions for development of microbial strains (pH, temperature, the quantities petroleum product / inoculum) have been established with the help of an experimental optimization program, SIMPLEX.
